经上又记着说

——马太福音四章七节

撒但的试探并非完全没有圣经依据，也并非完全与圣经的某一教导相悖。撒但的迷惑只在于引用圣经中的片言只字，强调真理的某一侧面。

然而，片面的真理每每等同于谬误；将真理的某一侧面推向极端，往往是恶者设下的网罗。

我们不只需要知道“经上记着说”，还需要知道“经上又记着说”。

求主使我们将神的话语丰丰富富地藏在心里，从神全备的话语中寻求我们脚前的灯，路上的光。

Matthew 4:7

Again it is written

  Satan’s words of temptation to Jesus are by no means devoid of a Biblical basis, and they are certainly not at odds with any particular Biblical teaching. Satan confuses by quoting only a phrase or two of scriptural context. In so doing, he emphasizes only of the truth.

  It is precisely this superficial truth which is in error. It always is. Pushing any one facet of the truth to its limits in this way becomes a trap set by the evil one.

  We must know not only that “it is written,” but also that “again it is written.”

  God grant that we may store up in our hearts all the riches of the word of God, the whole word of God, and in its entirety seek the lamp to light our way.
